After listening to its guest and team members the mega store, Target has created a clothing line specifically designed for children with special needs. The clothing line comes from the idea of minimizing discomfort associated with sensory issues. They will be offered through The Cat & Jack children’s clothing line.
The line of sensory friendly apparel will not have tags, or embellishments which cause discomfort. They will also offer pants with a higher rise and wider hip to accommodate individuals who wear diapers. Prices will range from $4.50 – $7.00 and will be available online.
The expansion of clothing to accommodate individuals from all walks of life is a fantastic idea. If the line is successful expansion to junior-adult sizes might be in the future.
